I have a BS in Medicine (2013) and a MD in Internal Medicine (Cardiology) (2015), from Tongji University, China. I used to be an intern in the Cardiology Department at Shanghai Tenth People’s Hospital, China. In 2016, I became a graduate student in the Dalton lab. At present, my research focuses on mesothelial differentiation of human embryonic stem cells (hESCs), including defining differentiation media for specific cell types, and exploring the transcriptional regulation of mesothelial differentiation. We hope that our research can provide insights into applying hESCs-derived progenitors for clinical therapy to cardiovascular disease.
